WMT UltraLink Enterprise Encoder Family H264/H.265 Encoders For Mobile and Remote production

The WMT UltraLink family of mobile encoders are Mobile Viewpoint’s flagship products. With the a range of unique features and developments, the UltraLink products are the most technological advanced mobile encoders available today.
In use by many global broadcasters to create high quality and low latency video feeds for outside broadcast and live remote production, the UltraLink can support up to 4 cameras simultaneously, can transmit 4K, and can include internal 5G modems.
The UltraLink productline is the first bonded backpack transmitter that provides real 4K. It is capable of delivering true 50/60 frames-per-second 4K and Ultra HD video quality from the field using 4G bonding technology. Besides its 4K abilities, UltraLink boosts 4x 3G and 1x 12G inputs for added performance and flexibility, as well as supporting
The units are capable of supporting up to 40MB/sec over bonded networks and can transmit back to a studio or to the cloud using up to and including 8 internal 3G/4G/5G modems, Wi-Fi, LAN and/or satellite and can bond all these connections to make a single high bandwidth connection. By using adaptive bitrate, the UltraLink productline optimizes the video feed based on the available bandwidth ensuring high quality video even in the most demanding of situations.
The lightweight and modest sized encoders can is available with a backpack and is battery powered. It supports many of the features expected of a mobile encoder including both H.265 and H.264 encoding, Store & Forward for internal storage, 2-way audio IFB intercom and return video.
The UltraLinks also boast a range of additional features including remote RCP control, Tally Control, IP streaming at the same time as video streaming, and the system can be used as a secure Wi-Fi hot spot even while live. It also includes a unique feature called 2Waylink allowing encoder-to-encoder streaming.
All encoders in the field can be remotely managed and controlled via Linkmatrix, a free-to-use management platform that operates from a browser on any device. This means non-technical journalists and production people in the field do not need to manage the units directly. Linkmatrix can manage individual encoders, destinations, show proxies, record & go, video return, transmission and cellular networks and other set ups and configurations.
